We developed a high-sensitivity omnidirectional gamma-ray Compton camera using crystal scintillators to improve the accuracy of the standardized uptake value (SUV). In this study, we measured gamma rays released from 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) in urinary. In our previous study, we developed a Compton camera that was able to measure the radioactivity of 18F-FDG in 30 seconds. However, some patients might flush the toilet within this period. In this meeting, we will report on the improvement of the method.
