Breast-conserving therapy is the treatment of radiation after breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer up to stage II. Late adverse events, such as the occurrence of contralateral breast cancer, have been reported. In the present study, we developed a female breast phantom to investigate the effects of breast-conserving therapy. The phantom was designed to be able to measure doses in each organ and respiratory movements. The present study is expected to provide accurate dose assessment in the field of radiotherapy.
