[9a-Z25-2] Development of compact Ge DCM and its application for X-ray micro CT

A compact double crystal monochromator (DCM) using Ge single crystal was developed for precise micro CT. A feasibility study of the DCM at SAGA light source showed that the monochromated X-ray photon flux was about 8-times higher than that of the conventional system. Fine three-dimensional images of woods, plant’s seeds, and foods were obtained within 1 h measurement period, and micro 2D XAFS was also performed by scanning the X-ray energy.
