Keywords:optical wireless power transmission

In this study, we carried out transmission experiments by using an 830 nm semiconductor laser and a 609 nm solid-state laser for long-distance optical wireless power transmission. Since a semiconductor laser beam had a large divergence angle, the divergence angle of the irradiated laser light was reduced to 0.31 degrees by using a collimating lens. However, it could only supply power to a transmission distance of 5 m in the optical system that uses a condenser lens with a diameter of 71 mm. On the other hand, in a solid-state laser with a divergence angle of 0.05 degrees, it was founded that it could supply power at a transmission distance of 50 m.
