Plasmonic photo-thermoelectric device is driven by the combination of the plasmonic local heat and the thermoelectric conversion. To improve the conversion efficiency of the device, photo-thermal conversion efficiency needed to be improved. We utilized the metamaterial perfect absorber (MPA) for the light receiver of the device and analyzed the local heat temperature generated on the MPA both experimentally and numerically.
