Low-aspect-ratio nanopore is a versatile sensor capable of counting and identifying single-particles and molecules of variable sizes by means of simple two-probe elecrtical current measurements. In my talk, I will talk about our recent experimental findings that the low-aspect-ratio nanopores can be used to measure not only volume and shape of single-nanoparticles but even their sub-picogram mass.
