Keywords:Organic semiconductor, Chemical sensor, Cucurbit[n]uril

We focused on cucurbit[n]urils, which are known to have the ability to capture peptides due to possessing the hydrophobic cavity and the hydrophilic lim. Then, we synthesized a novel cucurbit[6]uril derivative to form a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) on the gold electrode connected to an organic transistor. A shift in the threshold voltage was observed when imidazoledipeptides were captured on the electrode as a sensing site.
