We have studied the terahertz wave generation using exciton optical nonlinearity and reported the enhancement of the terahertz wave under exciton resonant excitation conditions in a GaAs/AlAs multiple quantum well. In this work, we discuss the excitation processes from the results of the modulation effects of the excitation laser light caused by the continuous-wave excitation.
