CNT bolometers operating at room temperature are more suited for security, food, and medical applications. To improve the CNT bolometric performance, the positive impact of thinner film thickness, suspending film configuration in air, and the enrichment of semiconducting CNT were reported so far. However, these methods of preparing the bolometer device are impractical for commercial applications. In this work, we present a planar single-walled CNT film bolometer in which the film is fabricated by simple ink-printing on an oxidized silicon substrate.
