The most of organic devices such as organic solar cells and OLED consist of layered structures with various materials. In order to fabricate them by solution processes, it is necessary to develop a process for making layered structures without dissolution the lower layer. In this study, we report methods for preparation of insoluble PDI thin films from a soluble precursor by photo-induced cyclization reaction.
