The purpose of this study is to fabricate materials with higher thermoelectric performance than Bi2Te3 nanoplates by combining Bi2Te3 nanoplates and single walled carbon nanotubes by solvothermal method. A solvothermal method was used for the synthesis, and the nanoplate material and SWCNT were heat treated to produce a composite material of Bi2Te3 nanoplate and CNT. A thin film was prepared from the composite powder by a drop casting method. Then, the thermoelectric performance and the structural analysis of the thin film heat treated by the thermal annealing method were performed. As a result, Bi2Te3 nanoplate/CNT composite was confirmed, and improvement in thermoelectric performance was observed with an increase in the amount of CNT added.
