In order to develop the high-performance p-type semiconducting polymers for non-fullerene solar cells, a new alkoxy-substituted anthrabisthiadiazole-based semiconducting polymer combined with a benzodithiophene derivative was synthesized and characterized. Furthermore, the relationship between thin-film structures and photovoltaic properties of the fabricated non-fullerene solar cell utilizing a low-bandgap, small molecular-weight n-type semiconductor are also discussed.
