Keywords:Mechanoluminescence, Flexible Electronics, Fatigue

Mechanoluminescence (ML) is emission phenomena accompanied by mechanical stimuli such as tension, compression, impact vibration etc, and can provide dynamic 2D strain information through the ML pattern. Here, ML sensing was applied to visualize dynamic and complicated strain behavior on flexible film or textile material which are vigorously utilized for flexible electronics device, such as for example fordable phone. In this presentation, we will report mechanoluminescence study on materials in flexible electronics, such as (1) fatigue process, (2) microcrack generation and (3) dynamic strain distribution in flexible files in bending test.
