[12p-B508-10] Observation of Energy transfer in Er/Dy co-doped fluoride glass for high-power LD-pumped mid-infrared fiber lasers

Dy/Er co-doped ZBLAN glass have been developed to achieve a LD-pumped Dy3+-activated fiber laser. The emission spectrum was measured under 970 nm LD pumping, and broadband fluorescence have been observed at 2.6~3.4 μm wavelength. Efficient energy transfer was successfully demonstrated in the Dy/Er co-doped ZBLAN glass.
