[12p-B508-3] Comparative Study on the Specific Heat of YAG between Debye-Model and Experimental Value under the Cryogenic condition

We evaluated and analyzed the specific heat of YAG under the cryogenic condition. Although the measured specific heat above room temperature can be welll expressed by Debye model with Debye temperature of 795K, the error reached up to 15% under the cryogenic condition. In addition, it was found that the doping of 1at.% Nedymium into YAG made the specific heat reduced 0.7% (0.005 J/gK@100 degC).
