[12p-B508-4] Full Area Thermal-Lens-Free Heat Capacitive Active Mirror Laser
Keywords:Thermal lens effect, Solid state laser, Active mirror
A novel concept for thermal-lens-free solid state laser, HCAM (Heat Capacitive Active Mirror) is investigated by the calculation of thermal phase shift curve by FEM method and FFT analysis. The thermal barrier effect is effective for the reduction of thermal induced phase shitl along the optical axis. In addition to the former report in JSPS meeting, I present a perfect thermal barrier effect between pumping volume to the thermally isolated non-pumped volume. The heat flow profile is completely one-dimensional and the thermal phase shift curve over the full aperture area is flat. The possility of partial doping and transparent clad design will be discussed in the meeting.
