[12p-PA4-18] Seebeck coefficient measurement of thin materials

Keywords:Seebeck coefficient

In order to evaluate the performance of thermoelectric materials, it is necessary to measure the Seebeck coefficient with high accuracy. For this purpose, conditions such as a large sample mass and thikness, an appropriate temperature difference between the high temperature side and the low temperature side are required. We proposed cyclic heating, cooling method for small and thin samples, and designed a apparatus that continuously measures temperature and potential difference simultaneously. It was also aimed to measure the Seebeck coefficient of a typical semiconductor single crystal with high accuracy using the apparatus.
