In this study, we prepared oriented molecularly imprinted sensing cavities for tumor marker glycoproteins. A boronic acid, capable of forming a reversible covalent bond with sugar moieties, was placed in the imprinted cavities for the multiple recognition of target proteins with high sensitivity and high selectivity. An apparent dissociation constant was estimated to be 108 to 109 M (SPR) or 1010 M (fluorescent) from the obtained binding isotherms, confirming that the sensitive detection of tumor marker glycoproteins can be achieved by the present molecular imprinted nanocavities bearing orthogonal interaction sites.
