This presentation introduces the trend of cutting-edge sensing that promotes a smart society through the R&D activities of vendors, national projects, and academic societies that aim to create value by the combiunation of IT (Information Technology) with OT (Operational Technology). Specifically, it shows ultra-power-saving and battery-less sensing under network communication band limitation, and roadmaps of system applications and energy harvesters by IRDSTM (International Roadmap for Devices and Systems) .
