[13a-D511-12] Thermoelectric measurement at high-temperature up to 5 GPa

Recently, we have developed the thermoelectric measurement system at high-temperature and high- pressure using six-axis multi-anvil press. The six-axis high-pressure equipment can generate much higher pressure than cubic multi anvil-press. By using this equipment, Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity of Al-doped Mg2Si up to 2 GPa were measured. In this report, we used a Kawai-type (6-8) multi anvil and small size sample in order to expand to the higher pressure region. As a result, thermoelectric properties of Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity were measure up to 5 GPa and 1500 K.
