The Nernst effect have been considered that the conversion coefficient is smaller than 1 μV/K, which is 100 times smaller than the one of the Seebeck effect. However, topological magnets, which has the large Berry curvature in the momentum space, such as antiferromagnet Mn3Sn and full-Heusler alloy Co2MnGa have been observed to show the very large coefficient of 0.35 μV/K and 6 μV/K, respectively. Therefore, these materials have been attracted much attention not only from fundamental physics but also from applied physics.
In this meeting, we will report the phase dependence of the anomalous Nernst effect induced by the in-plane and out-of-plane temperature gradient in the Co2MnGa thin film deposited by sputtering.
