[13a-PA1-9] Antenna-type sensors towards agri-sensing technology

We report an antenna-type sensor towards the development of agri-sensing technology which enables to detect the change of water content in plant structure. The relationship between the displacement of a pea sprout stem and return loss of an helical antenna setting a pea sprout stem at the center showed a good correlation. The change of the return loss spectra was explained by the dielectric properties change of a plant.
