[13a-PA5-6] Observation of ultrahigh purity single-photon characteristics on room-temperature photoluminescence of single colloidal quantum dots

We recently study experimentally the properties of nonclassical light emitted from colloidal quantum dots (CQDs), soluble high-performance luminescent materials. In this work, we investigated single-photon characteristics on several kinds of CQDs by measuring photon correlation g(2) using a temporal filter and superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors. We found that the CQDs with emission wavelength at around 600 nm can generate ultrahigh-purity single photons that exhibit g(2)(0)~0.005.
