Keywords:polymer's good solvents, sentence classification

Sentence classification for polymer’s good solvents was examined by rule-base method and machine learning. In rule-base method, sentence expressions for polymer’s solubility frequently described in polymer articles were utilized. In machine learning, BERT, which is the most advanced method in natural language processing, was used. After experiments, the F scores were 0.78 and 0.65 in rule-base method and machine learning, respectively. The score in machine learning was lower than that in rule-base method, but will raise by increase of the training data.
