Keywords:Plasma Medicine, electrostatic charges, biological roles

From 2012 to 2017, we participated in research and development by participating in the new academic field research "Creation of Plasma Medical Science," with Prof. Masaru Hori as his field representative. Here, using a mild plasma for medical use developed at AIST and Nagoya University, we succeeded in making clear the difference in hemostasis between by high-frequent electrical coagulator and plasma equipment and elucidated the mechanism on hemostasis by plasma.
In the symposium, we introduce the outcomes on the Creation of Plasma Medical Science and our approach to a new area called “ Science for glycan-electrostatics” that combines plasma science with glycobiology.
