[13p-A307-6] Development of Artificial Spinal Cord IC and Application for Robots

Fumio Uchikoba1, Minami Kaneko1, Ken Saito1 (1.Nihon Univ.)

Keywords:neuromorphic chip, neural network, robot

In the brain based on the same neural network, progress such as DL is remarkable, but similar progress is not seen in the spinal cord. One of the reasons is that the spinal cord requires real-time operation and is difficult to handle with software. On the other hand, since it is not necessary to be as large as the brain, neuromorphic chips that model nerve cells are promising candidates. In this talk, we will explain the application of IC to spinal cord and robots by our group.
