The purpose of this research is to realize superradiance using nanoparticles of organic dye aggregates and to develop a scintillator utilizing superradiance. Superradiance is a phenomenon in which excited coherent molecules emit quantum at the same time. The radiation lifetime is shorter than natural radiation, and the radiation intensity is higher. These features will enable to make compatible high speed and sensitivity of scintillator. In this study, we focused on the J-aggregate, which has a unique aggregate state with delocalized excited states, and fabricated the J-aggregate nanoparticles.
