We have prepared TIPS pentacene/PMMA blend films by ESD using environmentally-friendly solvents (acetone, n-butyl acetate, and hexane), and fabricated OFETs with superior characteristics due to sharp vertical phase separation between TIPS pentacene and PMMA. However, the mixture of three solvents is complicated, making it difficult to achieve reproducible results by small changes of process condition such as temperature. Thus in this study, we prepare blend films by using the environmentally-friendly solvents without hexane and demonstrate excellent OFET characteristics due to investigation of process condition.
