In the present mainstream of printing technologies for printed electronics, organic solvent is used to make various electronic materials into ink. These special solvents sometimes have significant load on human body, ecosystem, and environment. In this research work, patterning and thin film formation of conductive silver particles were performed without using any organic solvents. Precise patterning was achieved by a two-component development scheme. In addition, by applying ultrasonic vibration to the patterned silver particles, the silver particles were sintered on the plastic film substrate.
