In this study, we designed a 10 kA superconducting cable and compared the critical current when designing the cable with the conventional winding method that suppresses the influence of the magnetic field and the winding method that generates the longitudinal magnetic field. As a result, it was confirmed that the critical current increased by about 20% as compared with the conventional type even with the same wire rod amount.
