Keywords:superconducting cable, critical current, current transfer

Current-voltage characteristics were measured by changing the distance between the potential lead and current terminal to clarify the effect of current transfer on the measurement of critical current of superconducting cable. The resistive component that decreases exponentially with the distance is superposed on the voltage caused by the current transfer. It can be clarified that the critical current can be correctely measured by subtracting the resistive component from the measured voltage.
