As a method to characterize the uniformity of long length high Tc superconducting tapes, which is one of the most important performance requirements, widely used TapestarTM and reel-type high-speed scanning Hall-probe magnetic microscopy (RTR-SHPM) developed by the authors are known. To date, however, no sufficient comparison has been made on the quantification of Ic and the relationship between these two methods. In this study, both measurements were performed on the same long tape, and the results were compared.
