As a method to characterize the uniformity of long length high T_c superconducting tapes, which is one of the most important performance requirements, widely used Tapestar^TM and reel-type high-speed scanning Hall-probe magnetic microscopy (RTR-SHPM) developed by the authors are known. To date, however, no sufficient comparison has been made on the quantification of I_c and the relationship between these two methods. In this study, both measurements were performed on the same long tape, and the results were compared.
