[13p-B415-14] Possibility of Forming Aerial Heater by Use of Honeycomb Structure

Kengo Fujii1, Hirotsugu Yamamoto1,2 (1.Utsunomiya Univ., 2.JST ACCEL)

Keywords:Honey comb, aerial heater

The honeycomb structure is a lightweight structure with high rigidity and a row of hexagonal openings made of aluminum foil. The reflection-type imaging element used in conventional aerial heaters consists of orthogonal reflecting surfaces, whereas the angle formed by the reflecting surface in a honeycomb structure is 120 degrees. This time, the possibility of focusing far-infrared rays with a mirror array having a honeycomb structure was verified by ray tracing simulation.
