△ [13p-D411-6] Non-equilibrium thin-film growth and control of magnetic properties of La2MnCoO6 toward realizing giant exchange bias
Keywords:exchange bias, thin film, double perovskites
It is known that an extremely large exchange bias appears spontaneously in a sintered body of A2MnCoO6 (A: lanthanoid or alkaline earth element), which has a double perovskite structure. Its origin is thought to be the interaction at the interface between the ferromagnetic phase and the antiferromagnetic phase spatially separated by the distribution of the order of Mn and Co. Therefore, we focus on non-equilibrium thin-film growth that can systematically control the B-site order of double perovskite regardless of the thermodynamically stable phase. The purpose of this study is to grow La2MnCoO6 (LMCO) thin films with different degrees of order using pulsed laser deposition, and to clarify the relationship between magnetism properties and degrees of order.
