△ [14a-A304-8] Inactivation effect of O₂ introduced PAM on skin cancer cells and skin normal cells

To investigate inactivation effect of PAM (Plasma Activated medium) on cancer skin cells and normal skin cells, we prepared the PAMs by two different ways. One is the way to prepare the PAM by irradiation of He-O₂ mixed gas plasma, and the other is the way to prepare the PAM by irradiation of He plasma under O₂ environment. As a result, whereas the inactivation effect on skin normal cells was almost the same between the two different ways, the inactivation effect on skin cancer cells was promoted by the increase of O2 concentration. This finding suggests a possibility of selective inactivation of the cancer cells by PAM preparation under O2 environment.
