In recent years, exploring materials for thermal management has become an urgent issue. However, in contrast to inorganic materials and metals, understanding of the thermal transport properties of organic materials has lagged behind significantly. In this study, in order to understand the thermal transport properties of organic materials, the thermal conductivity of oriented films of a tripodal triptycene molecule was evaluated using the time-domain thermoreflectance method and the 3ω method. As a result, the triptycene molecular thin films were revealed to have thermal conductivity anisotropy.
