[14a-B407-2] Novel readout for optical transition edge sensors

Kaori Hattori1, Sachiko Takasu1, Daiji Fukuda1,2 (1.AIST, 2.OPERANDO-OIL)

Keywords:single photon detector, transition edge sensor

Optical transition edge sensor (TES) detectors which can resolve an energy of a single photon have proven desirable in quantum information and biology. Applications to quantum information demands high jitter performance. However, jitter is thought to be limited by bandwidth of Flux locked loop (FLL) which linearizes a Superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). In this talk, we present a new readout dedicated to high-frequency signals.
