[14a-D209-1] Status report of MALT, The University of Tokyo

Hiroyuki Matsuzaki1 (1.MALT, Tokyo Univ.)

Keywords:Tandem accelerator, Accelerator Mass Spectrometry, Beam Analysis

MALT (Micro Analysis Laboratory, Tandem accelerator), The University of Tokyo consists of Cesium-sputter negative ion source, 5MV tandem electrostatic accelerator, and 5 beam lines. 30-40 research projects are running annually in recent years. Annual accelerator operation time is around 5,000 hours per year. However, it has been 25 years since its construction. Often occured troubles should be solved to maintain current activity.
