[14a-D519-5] Measurements of electrocaloric effect by using lock-in thermography
Keywords:dielectric material, electrocaloric effect, thermography
We repot on the direct measurement method of the temperature change induced by electrocaloric effect (ECE) using the lock-in thermography technique.
The method not only realizes non-contact and sensitive measurements of the spatial distribution of the ECE-induced temperature change, but also can be extended to simultaneously measure the heating due to dielectric loss, inevitable when driving the ECE. Thus, the lock-in thermography method can be useful for studying the ECE.
