[14a-PB6-16] Evaluation of glass transition temperature of thermoreversible photochromic material by grinding
Keywords:photochromism, glass transition temperature, thermoreversible material
The stability of organic electronic devices is related to the glass transition temperature (Tg) of materials. Photochromic materials are being considered as various optical and electronic switching devices. However, one isomerization state cannot be evaluated using a differential scanning calorimeter because of its thermal unstablity. In this study, Tg of thermally unstable colored state was evaluated by grinding colored crystals into amorphous. As a result, Tg measurement was attained without a thermal reverse reaction.
