We investigate GaInAsP H0 slotted cavity photonic crystal nanolasers for applications in biomedical sensing. Higher cavity quality factors yield superior device sensitivity, therefore previous research was focused on using neural network algorithm to simulate high-Q structure. However, when fabricated such designs can have lower performances due to manufacturing defects. Therefore, we tried to search the structure robust against fluctuation by using machine learning.
