[14p-A402-9] Panel discussion toward construction of academic theory on "module science"

Atsushi Masuda1, Yasuaki Ishikawa2, Takeshi Mori3, Yuji Yamagata4 (1.AIST, 2.NAIST, 3.Sumitomo Bakelite, 4.Optoenergy)

Keywords:modules, semiconductor devices, solar cells

Degradation in photovoltaic modules originates from changes in properties of semiconductors, glass, polymer, and metals by loads such as UV light irradiation, hygrothermal stress and high voltage. Such degradation relates with chemical reaction and interaction between each material. In order to examine whether these knowledges can be applied to packaging techniques for other electronic devices and also to construct academic theory on "module science", panel discussion will be held with specialists for each electronic device.
