[14p-A405-11] Rational Primary Structure Design for Boosting the Thermoelectric Properties of Semiconducting Carbon Nanotube Networks
Keywords:carbon nanotube, semiconductor, Thermoelectric conversion
Investigating thermoelectric transport in single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) deepens the understanding of their electronic properties as a one dimensional material. SWCNTs physical properties vary depending on the chirality (helicity), showing semiconducting and metallic electronic structure. The excellent thermoelectric properties of semiconducting SWCNTs have been reported recently, but their dependence on diameter distribution has yet to be experimentally elucidated. In this study, we investigated the thermoelectric properties of semiconducting SWCNT thin films with different diameter distributions and semiconductor purity extracted by conducting polymers.
