[14p-A405-15] Entropy in Sensitized Thermal Cells

Sachiko Matsushita1 (1.Tokyo Tech.)

Keywords:sensitized solar cell, thermal excitation, energy harvest

A sensitized thermal cell (STC) is a battery in which photon excitation in a dye-sensitized solar cell is changed to the thermal excitation of a semiconductor (S. Matsushita, et al., Mater. Horiz., 2017, 4, 649.; S. Matsushita, et al., J. Mater. Chem. A, 2019, 7, 18249.). Electric power can be generated by touching or burying in a heat source. In this presentation, we will discuss the thermodynamics of STC from the viewpoint of the solar cell's entropy.
