[14p-B410-4] Parallel laser processing using a spatial light modulator

Masaaki Sakakura Sakakura1 (1.Univ. Southampton)

Keywords:laser processing, spatial light modulation

Holographic laser processing is one of the promising techniques that increase the throughput of laser processing. In the method, the spatial phase distribution of a laser beam is modulated using a spatial light modulator to generate multiple light spots with arbitrary distribution. Here, I will talk about the procedure of holographic laser processing and unique phenomena by parallel laser irradiation.
