[14p-D209-5] Distribution of the cosmogenic Be isotopes concentrations in seawater in the Eastern South Pasific.
Keywords:10Be, Cosmogenic Nuclide, Eastern South Pacific
10Be (half-life 1.36Ma) is produced by the nuclear interaction between secondary cosmic rays and atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen. The residence time of Be in the ocean is considered to be 400-1000 years, and the depth distribution of 10Be concentration in seawater has a depth distribution called the recycle type. There are very few reports of 10Be concentration in seawater because a large amount of seawater is used for measurement. In this study, to consider the circulation of 10Be in the ocean from the depth distribution of 10Be concentration in the eastern South Pacific.
