¹⁰Be (half-life 1.36Ma) is produced by the nuclear interaction between secondary cosmic rays and atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen. The residence time of Be in the ocean is considered to be 400-1000 years, and the depth distribution of ¹⁰Be concentration in seawater has a depth distribution called the recycle type. There are very few reports of ¹⁰Be concentration in seawater because a large amount of seawater is used for measurement. In this study, to consider the circulation of ¹⁰Be in the ocean from the depth distribution of ¹⁰Be concentration in the eastern South Pacific.
