[14p-D311-8] Identification method of wireless SAW sensor based on mass loading effect

Passive sensing system is realized using surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. Identification of each SAW sensor is important task for the actual application. In this paper, we propose new identification method based on the mass-loading effect. The time delay due to the loaded mass is utilized for the identification. The calculated results using the perturbation theory indicate that the identification is possible based on the mass loading.
