[14p-PA1-45] Remanent magnetic domain dependent spin-orbit torques in L10-FePt-C granular media

L10-FePt-C granular media (5 nm) / Pt(2 nm) heterostructure was fabricated to evaluate the spin-orbit torques depending on the various domain structures via second harmonic Hall measurement. As a result, the longitudinal SOT effective field (HL) was much larger than that of transverse SOT effective field (HT) for all domain structures. The domain structure consisting of similar amount of up or down magnetization gave the maximum value, which was approximately half size for the beta-W/CoFeB heterostructures.
