[14p-PA2-69] Development of wearable RPL dosimeter proto-type device for convenient lens dosimetry
Keywords:RPL, wearable device, Eye lens
Growing attention has been paid on radiation protection and dosimetry for partial body exposures where strict equivalent dose limit of occupational exposures would be scheduled to be reduced for particular part of the body, i.e. eye lens. It would be a great technical advantageous if we could realize a wearable device where dosimetry and radiation protection could be archived without disturbing any actions of protection bodies from the viewpoint of optimizing radiation exposure control. In this research, we have been prototyped a wearable device utilizing phosphate radio-photoluminescence (RPL) glass dosimeters, where cyclic and reproductivity of dose response are promised. And we evaluated the fundamental functions of the device aiming its preliminary experiment (Proof of Concept: PoC).
